How Meander®
Guides Work
Meander®
Guides consist of a collection of audio and video content files. Each file is associated with
GPS coordinates and other
location information that trigger the file to start playing at the appropriate
place and time.
Meander Guides use Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite signals to determine
your current
location and trigger the appropriate tour content. Aside from tunnels and very narrow canyons, it is possible to receive
the GPS signals anywhere on earth.
Our systems use tested, off-the-shelf
hardware components that provide a reliable and low cost platform. We have
a variety of hardware configurations available depending on your desired
features and budget.
We offer a variety of licensing options so
you only have to pay for what you really need, including software, hardware, and
tour content.
